More Workshops!
So we had our second round of Harry Potter workshops here at the Flagship Clubhouse. It was definitely a huge success, and of course not without some hiccups. The youth for this workshop were definitely from a younger age range, in comparison to the first workshop, the average age being between 11-14. The one snag we definitely hit was when one of the groups was failing to arrive. Turned out that the group that was scheduled to arrive at their organization failed to, so they ended up only bring 4 youth, which turned out to be fine, and seemed to be a very positive experience for them. The Flagship has also been busy planning some C2C opportunities as well. On February 18th, some of our Flagship members made a trip to Soup2Nuts. For more than twelve years, Soup2Nuts has created award-winning animated programming for the major television and cable networks. Best known for its smart humor, unique animation styles and improv-infused dialogue, Soup2Nuts’ productions stand out in the television landscape. This was a great way to expose some of our youth to the professional world of animation and we were very fortunate to have been able to plan a trip there. Check out some of the photos from the trip.
